"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer" - Acts 2:42

We are a inter-denominational church in Denton, TX, and are primarily focused on reaching out and bringing hope to the students and the campus community at the University of North Texas (UNT) and Texas Woman's University (TWU).  We strive for authenticity and honesty in our spiritual lives and to live out the freedom bought for us through Jesus!  We are a part of the Collegiate Church Network. http://collegiatechurchnetwork.com/

We meet weekly within our homegroups and together on Sundays for worship.  Our Sunday service is at 10:30am in Strickland Hall at the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home campus  (909 Greenlee St. Denton, TX 76201)

Student Homegroups meet on Wednesday and Thursday nights during the week.  Usually around 7:30.  City Homegroups meet at various days and times according to the members schedules.

Purpose

Exalt God - Jesus said that the true worshipers would worship in spirit and in truth . We desire our worship to be genuine, passionate, and above all, honoring to our Creator. We aspire to exalt God through celebrative worship, through encouraging the development of strong personal devotional lives, and through earnest and passionate prayer.

Encourage Christians to Spiritual MaturityWe are called to encourage one another daily. We emphasize the Biblical values of love and unity. We believe Christians are encouraged as they learn to minister to one another and as they learn the Holy Scriptures.

Equip Christians for Ministry - In Christ, every Christian is called as a minister with unique gifts. We want to equip God's people for ministry. We value the variety of gifts, ministries, and effects that the Bible emphasizes. We want to help train up leaders of God in business and in ministry to impact the world for Christ.

Evangelize - We take seriously Jesus' instruction in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples of all nations. Through love, service and acceptance, and with an emphasis on personal responsibility to share the good news of Christ with others, we plan and pray and pursue to be tools in God's hands for taking the gospel to our community, to our nation, and to the ends of the earth.
